Smart Working, good people, nice office environment
I was at Aon for 10+ years and loved being a part of this prestigious firm. However, over the last few years, it seemed to lose direction and became impossible to get anything accomplished. Matrix structure overcomplicated things, and the firm seemed to value everything except the broking business. Such a disappointment but I felt that I had to leave. Lots of execs started to leave, too, which made it obvious that something isn't working.

Re-focus on the core business. Listen to what people in the industry are saying about Aon and make improvements to become an elite firm again. Promote qualified people. Don't take employee loyalty for granted.

Toxic company to work for, stay away.
There are no pros for this company.
Management is toxic, Executives treat assistants like servants. They have assistants reporting to another assistant (on the same level) because they think we don't count and don't want to be bothered. They are demeaning, discriminatory and inappropriate and HR looks the other way blaming the assistant.
