Pay could be better for what we do, mandatory to work two Saturdays, only opportunity for promotion is to apply for different positions, late closure gives customers chance to cause bankers to staying longer causing banker to be late for their plans or late picking up children which means late fee from daycare, not enough floaters

Promote within before hiring external candidates that are related to VPs. Don’t exclude “smaller employees” just because you don’t respect them; 9 times out of 10 tellers and personal bankers are the only contact clients have with the bank. Branch managers provide little-to-no support to client service professionals. Having zero breaks and working 50-60 hours a week should not be necessary for client-facing employees. Staff better! A manager said openly racist things to me and about me, as well as other coworkers.

The insurance is fantastic, the support structure is great, co-workers are kind, helpful, and informative, all around I can see myself staying here for awhile. The work is definitely interesting and it feels important and impactful.

Perhaps the speed of which things are developed could be a tad faster and processes between departments could be made clearer. This seems to be the result of the size and scale of the company which I am not used to.

Good people, good culture, too many meetings.

The people you're going to work with are genuinely good people. There is also good culture with the company and your peers are very supportive. The pay is above average for personal banking roles from what I understand.

So.Many.Meetings. There was a time I literally had a meeting every single day and most of the time it's just a bunch of rambling from management. The managers are always in a meeting too. I would just recommend maybe cutting back on meetings. Although the intent of these meetings is positive, I feel like it annoys a lot of people and is just a drag.

Hire better quality managers than one who needs 2 coaches to deal with people and has a language barrier with which to contend. Only thing anyone can figure is this was a DEI hire. Rather have someone in the chair who can check the boxes versus someone capable enough to do the job.
