Teams continue to shrink or be outsourced, but the work continues to grow. Management is risk averse to avoid making themselves look bad, resulting in staff having to parallel path contingency plans to no end, doubling or tripling normal project work. No one wants to be the one to say “no” to anyone above them for fear of being let go or pushed out. Solid benefit package with medical pricing depending on your salary. 401k is slightly above average. Free product every now and then. The 12 hour schedule is hard on the body. Not the best for work life balance in my opinion. The only reason you’ll see top management on the floor is to try and catch someone doing something wrong. They will actually hide in hard to see places and spy on you. Very little support for the TPO’s in terms of equipment help and training. You are on your own once signed off. Don’t ask for help or you will be ridiculed. Building is full of egos which creates a hostile work environment for those not in the click. Key supply chain departments were dissolved in the operating model change and employees were let go with no thought or instruction from management as to where roles & responsibilities would shift. There is a lack of training, support, and standard processes between business units because the infrastructure for these things was eliminated or "modified" and no longer has adequate staffing or resources. Regarding culture, executive teams continue to demand more in-office attendance without evidence supporting claims around boosting business performance. Work life balance is disappearing rapidly.
