nyse:cns cohenandsteers.csod.com cohenandsteers.csod.com Apr 10th, 2020 12:00AM Client Onboarding Manager Open Headquarters - NY New York NY USA Jan 13th, 2018 12:00AM <p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Client Onboarding Manager – New York<br><br><strong>Department:</strong> Investment Administration<br><br><strong>Job Reports to:</strong> Global Head of Investment Operations<br><br></p><p><strong>Job Summary:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The Client Onboarding Manager is responsible for coordinating the firm onboarding efforts for&nbsp; new client accounts as well as the ongoing maintenance of existing client accounts .&nbsp; The Client Onboarding Manager is the central point of contact related to the client onboarding process and is responsible for coordinating implementation activities across multiple internal groups – Investments, Trading, Legal &amp; Compliance, Sales, Client Service, Finance, IT and Operations.<br><br><strong>Major Responsibilities/Activities:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>• Establish standard procedures for client onboarding and maintain in accordance with industry best&nbsp; practices&nbsp;<br>• Assist in the development of a workflow process to support the onboarding objectives of the firm<br>• Understand the onboarding process from all aspects – legal, compliance, operations, investments – and be able to develop strategies to meet varied requirements within a defined timeline<br>• Develop meaningful relationships with key internal stakeholders through regular communication and strategic programs<br>• Prepare onboarding updates, present to stakeholder groups and to senior management across the firm<br>• Demonstrate the ability to identify risks, anticipate issues and maintain controls in a fast-paced environment&nbsp;<br>• Utilize strategic communication skills to influence internal partners and achieve desired results<br>• Prioritize needs and resources appropriately to deliver positive business outcomes&nbsp;<br>• Demonstrate success in all phases of onboarding and client account maintenance, including consistently enhancing the process incrementally over time<br>• Oversee the completion of internal requirements/setup for all onboarding events by tracking, documenting and reporting on progress to senior management<br>• Escalate issues to senior leadership<br><br><strong>Required Skills/Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>• Bachelor degree&nbsp;<br>• 7+ years of related experience in a client facing operations role<br>• Experience managing small teams or projects a plus&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>• A strong understanding of operational processes, challenges and issues<br>• Past successes in contributing to business transformation projects<br>• Previous Client Onboarding or similar experience&nbsp;<br>• Strong analytical and creative solutioning abilities<br>• Strong communications and presentation skills<br>• Strong organization skills with high attention to details<br>• Microsoft Office or other project management tools</p> Apr 10th, 2020 05:09AM Apr 10th, 2020 05:09AM Financials Financial Services
