Team members are helpful mostly, pay is about what you expect from this type of job. The mentality is...no matter how much you do it's not enough. I enjoy getting to interact with guests on a daily basis. Many of the other servers and hosts are fun and we all get along well. The management is tough to work with at times. Many of the other workers feel that the managers think they're better than everyone and look down on them. However, overall it is a decent place to work. One of the easiest serving jobs you can have. Virtually no sidewalk as a server. As a bartender, not very much to do workload wise compared to most bartending jobs. That said, as a bartender, you are your own barback, your own busser and your own bar server. And you have to make drinks for the entire restaurant. So if you've got a full bar top, 3 tables to serve and a server with a party of 9 rings in margaritas for everyone at their table, guess what... that can get a little nuts but my team was super supportive. Managers won't hesitate to jump in. I absolutely love my coworkers and managers. You can make great money if you are willing to work hard- your income is basically up to you. I love working in a fast paced environment and talking with different guests every day. If something negative happens with a tough guest the managers are quick to resolve issues and support you as an employee. If you want to move up within the company there is plenty of room for growth.
