Worlds worst (much stronger words than that) employer. They hate the employees, it is a completely toxic company! The union is in bed with the company and the result is that all the employees get a worse contract every three years. Then they hire temp workers from out of state, pay them better and don’t require them to pay union dues! Words cannot possibly describe the level of disrespect this shows to the employees What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Every second of every single day! No appreciation, no real benefits, management that treats the employees worse than cattle! What is the best part of working at the company? I liked my direct boss. As long as you did your job, no one bothered you. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? I wanted daylight, but had to start on the midnight shift. I was offered another position working daylight with a different company and left before having an opportunity to bid on a daylight position. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? It is a noisy environment, but you’re given ear protection. I wasn’t there long enough to develop a relationship with anyone, but everyone I spoke with was friendly and sociable. What is a typical day like for you at the company? It is more like a family oriented place with caring supervisors and the employees are like family members and they treat each other with respect and the company prides itself on good communication and care for and recognizes their employees. Az állásinterjú előtti elbeszélgetésen már anomálik voltak, pl 2 műszakból bármikor áttehetnek 3 műszakba, kötelező havi két szombat túlóra. 3 hónapig betanítanak, addig nem dolgozol önállóan. A tesztfeladat egy bonyolult 5 pontos ponthegesztés volt: nem az egyszerű két pákával pontheggesz két dolgot össze- nem volt elvárt heggesztési gyakorlat- hanem egy cikcakklemez ami nyeklik, azt kellett felheggeszteni a bal kézben lévő tartóra, amit tolsz előre a cikk cakk lemezt oda tartva a hegesztő gép alatt és a lábtaposóval adod hozzá az áramot. Igen ám, de a munkavédelmi bebúlyós látogatói papucs orrhenéz, így a gép nem egy heggesztést nyom egy nyomásra, hanem vagy 6.-ot. Ezzel ugye mindenki el is hasalt, de ha ez nem lett volna elég, már mikor az asztalhoz értél zengett, hogy ti mind hülyék vagytok, mert az előző a feladatot sem tudta felfogni, és a delikvens, aki nézi a tudásod üvöltözik veled. És még hozzá sem kezdtél. Ez nem állásinterjú, ez egy gestapo tiszt egy markofegyverrel a fejed mögött. Szóbeli interjúra csak ezután kerül sor, ha ezt a feladatot teljesítetted. Köszönöm, ha sikerült volna, akkor sem maradok, mint látszik,a feladatot felfogtam, a kedves munkálattónak meg azt kellene felfogni, hogy a napi munkáson cipő van, a tesztelő felvételisen meg holtsúly. Gratulálok, a kiválasztás egy rakás átgondolatlan irrealitás. Akkor mire van a betanítás, ha élből bonyolult hegesztési gyakorlaton kell felmérni? Ez az egy óra is roppant beszédes volt már. There had been so many people quitting because of the way he was talking to people. They want you to get parts out quick and when you run out of things to do. They move you to an area where you are not trained and are not comfortable with. Also they don't pay the differential pay base off of the work area. For example, machining gets paid a little more than assembly line. When you have no work at assembly line, they move you to machining and won't pay you the difference. Why would you send someone to do a more higher paying job and not pay them the difference? Always asking people to work an hour overtime when parts are dropped. When the next day comes, everyone fighting for work or looking for work. This place is not organized and always have parts on order. Other then that the work is easy, boring, and dirty. I wouldn't waste my time in this place. They do not treat their people right! However it leads to quick burnout.
