This is not a remote role.</b></p><p></p><p>You will have an opportunity investigate and respond to written regulatory complaints that customers file against Green Dot to attain the best possible response and <span><span>resolution. </span></span>Customer Advocate (Regulatory Complaints) are responsible for facilitating and resolving the most escalated customer-initiated issues to the highest professional standards via phone, email or letter correspondence. In Green Dot Customer Escalations, we continually seek individuals with a keen passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, a desire to make an impact, a commitment to their work, the ability to elevate the performance of their team members and display enjoyment for solving complex customer issues.</p><p></p><p><b><u><span>Responsibilities </span></u></b></p><ul><li><p>Provide accurate and comprehensive written analysis and responses to customer complaints that have been filed with a state or federal regulator within the appropriate timeframes.</p></li><li><p>Ensure that all customer escalations that have been filed with a state or federal regulator are managed to excellent professional standards and within Green Dot terms and policies.</p></li><li><p>Facilitate customer contact via phone, email or letter correspondence to research and resolve the customer’s issues.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate ownership of customer issues and work proactively with Green Dot business units, partners, and vendors to manage issues through to a complete resolution in a timely manner.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate sound negotiation, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills by working to resolve issues within your own authority and parameters, whenever possible, while utilizing sound judgment to understand when it will be both effective and necessary to escalate to a higher authority.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate ability to understand the big picture and identify the underlying drivers causing complaints by capturing, reporting, and analyzing systematic issues and recommending solutions to improve processes and products.</p></li><li><p>Advocate as the “voice of the customer” to Green Dot. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in a multitude of data domains; including, but not limited to; 24 x 7 x 365 enterprise and cloud data warehouse and reporting solutions and management, design and build data warehouse models, ETL development, performance tuning, service delivery, incident tracking, and change management.</p><p></p><p><b><span>Responsibilities</span></b></p><ul><li>Architecting and maintaining the Operational data stores (ODS), Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and associated data intelligence environments including data lakes, data marts, and metadata repositories</li><li>Designing and implementing performance data movement pipelines using multiple ETL tools with batch and real-time event data streams (Informatica, SQL Packages, Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hub, AWS Kinesis, etc.)</li><li>Gathering business and information requirements from various product owners across various functional units</li><li>Designing and creating data architecture and data flow diagrams and collaborating with peers to translate requirements into logical and physical data models</li><li>Conducting design review sessions and communicate design artifacts with stakeholders</li><li>Ensures database features and capabilities are incorporated into data model designs to optimize performance, resiliency, and scalability</li><li>Delivering and presenting proofs of concept to of key technology components to project stakeholders and internal technology leaders</li><li>Developing scalable and re-usable frameworks for ingestion of structured and semi-structured data; and implementing various large-scale settlement and reconciliation frameworks</li><li>Leading and coordinating the design and operationalization of Master Data Management and Data Governance initiatives including custom developed solutions</li><li>Working with other members of the project team to support delivery of additional project components associated with cloud data platform</li><li>Problem-solving of Data warehouse and ODS application issues and production errors, including high level critical production issues that require immediate attention</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned including major new project initiatives</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Qualifications</span></b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field preferred</li><li>5+ years of Informatica Powercenter and IICS development experience</li><li>8+ years of overall software development experience is required primarily with Data warehouse and Business Intelligence applications</li><li>4+ years of hands-on development experience in MPP cloud-based data warehouse platform – AWS Redshift, Snowflake or Azure SQL Data Warehouse or Synapse platform</li><li>4+ years of hands-on development experience with Relational DBs (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.); experience with complex stored procedures and functions using SQL, optimization of SSIS packages and Redshift database queries</li><li>Windows batch scripting, Shell scripting and working experience with Python and/or Java is preferred</li><li>Strong knowledge and experience in OLAP data modeling & design</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in performance tuning in various DB environments with large volumes of data</li><li>Experience building and scaling distributed, high available systems in cloud env (Azure / AWS)</li><li>Expertise in understanding complex business needs, analyzing, designing, and developing solutions</li><li>Communication and professional skills and the ability to navigate relationships across business units</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Pluses:</span></b></p><ul><li>Financial technology domain knowledge</li><li>Knowledge of NoSQL DBs (MongoDB / Cassandra / Azure Cosmos DB or similar)</li><li>Microsoft Azure Data Engineer or other cloud certifications</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><span class="emphasis-2"><u><b>POSITION TYPE</b></u></span></p><p></p>Regular<p></p><p><span><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>></span></p><p></p><p>Green Dot promotes diversity and provides equal opportunity for all applicants and employees.
