Having a fun Job has conditions

Very friendly environment, lots of cool stuff to see if you’re a video game or toy collector. Co workers may have the same mind set as your so making lasting connections is possible if you are looking. Occasionally slow during non-peak hours or school time. Management can be very cool and respectful of time off if lucky. Hours are really low but good if you’re in school or have another part time job. 16-20 per week.
Job is very sales oriented. They will bring up status of work if below average and does make job more difficult. (Subscription, and warranties) Occasional angry or rude customers and people trying to steal.

Fun place to work

I really enjoyed my time working for gamestop. A typical day would usually incule checking the employer manual and seeing what tasks had to be done exp. Price changes and offers. Working for gamestop helped me hon in on sales skills with kpis and wanting to beat my last weeks target, which was the most enjoyable park for me

Don't get a job here. The duty to pay ratio is way out of proportion. You'll be over worked and under appreciated. While I loved the team that I worked with, the company overall made it unbearable

upper management cares more about selling pro card memberships to customers that cannot afford much than a great experience or meeting their needs. Also, warranties there are almost meaningless.

hours were flexible, and my boss was pretty good about making me feel like I had something to work towards. Overall fun experience. One complaint would be upper management seemed to really be adamant on magazine subscriptions which were very much on their way out at the time.
