Grubhub is a perfect example how when you don't take care of your employees your customers do not get taken care of. Low pay, sales structure, and lack of onboarding support lead to a not my problem mentality in the sales org and you can tell talking to restaurant owners and staff they are frustrated with our services. Imagine giving 30% of your income to people who never follow up and do not do what they say that are going to do? It is no wonder why we are the least liked delivery service out there. DO NOT WORK HERE unless you need the benefits short term.

When there are a lot of orders being able to choose nearby or well paying orders. Some regions may have the ability to earn enough to survive.

GrubHub refuses to remove bad drivers and in fact restricts its best drivers. Refuses to ban customers who lie about receiving food even if photo is provided they refund lying customers. GrubHubs customer service at some of the worst customer service to date. Often running fans saying “I can’t hear you” barely understanding English, taking their time when you’re paid hourly. Tablets for restaurants are 6 year old technology. Locations are off. If the algorithm picks up that you have been receiving hourly pay they’ll make sure you miss an order or a send an order that’s 30 miles away. Incentivizing drivers to drive unsafely and or deny the order not receiving their hourly pay for under 90% acceptance rate due to the lack of orders. If you don’t accept the order your commitment rate will fall and then they remove your scheduling ability which guarantees hourly pay which fluctuates depending on your states minimum wage. Sleazy as that is we saw pay raises in my state to have Grubhub begin cutting drivers hours to unsustainable numbers. It’s safe to assume they will close doors soon. With the business structure built around saving money they will not earn without drivers, paying less to every driver and have then work less, raise prices. Slowing the customers order to a halt with hour long wait times. Bonuses are so low its an insult $1,$2,$6 for completing an order or two without skipping one and they could be 30 miles apart. Just eats take away ruined GrubHub. Wouldn’t doubt if it was paid off by door dash and Uber. between car payments sets of tires and fuel expenses delivering to maniacs and millionaires that disrespect you for less than $10 an hour after gas and expenses.
