I have learned that Grubhub is not good with dealing with drivers which forces drivers like myself to leave with hard feeling and quickly go elsewhere. For example, I scheduled a block of time to deliver with them. While I was sitting in my car waiting for an order from Grubhub to come through they instantly marked me absent. And they sent me a text telling me that I was outside of my delivery zone so they cancelled my scheduled block and marked me absent. Then they marked my permanent record as being absent from my schedule instead of them having the decency to simply send me a text to move over a few blocks within my zone . This matter could have been resolved within 5 minutes if they had the decency to tell me to move a few blocks into my delivery zone. Instead they chose to negatively and permanently mark my record. First of all this kind of work is not always easy and hard on your car. Grubhub is way to hard on drivers. I felt like the managers weren’t even equipped to do the job we were doing. Money was great. Since then it has been a steady decline in my area. I would recommend doing it part time for extra cash. It is no longer a viable option full time. Work on your own time. Driving from on restaurant, then to a home, then to another restaurant... It seems it would be less wear and tear on the vehicle to work at a single restaurant. I do not recommend delivery in your own car unless your planning to drive for a living. Practice makes perfect but I won't use my own car again. Try retail, customer service. -People skills equal life skills You can think your way there. It's like a game. Have fun.
