This was a great place to work for however when I was there it was Southwest Securities, Inc. They offered tuition reimbursement, great benefits, training and awesome coworkers. Even though it's located in the city after a few years coworkers become your friends and family.
Every year they would invite you to lunch (approx. a group of 20 who had birthdays around the same time and we would dine at the top of the Bank of America building and get to meet with the top executive's, ask questions, etc. The tradition began with the executives years ago when they first formed the company and were still there - however back then they called it the brown bag lunch (on Wednesday's) as they would bring their lunch from home I suppose. I know some of the people are still there today.

Great place to earn a lot when times are good, but layoffs are the norm at this company.

Remote first company, great benefits and pay (when times are good).
But you will also deal with constant layoffs, rude loan officers (because they drive all of the profit), and weird 1970’s style culture when you go to their sales conferences. The mortgage industry isn’t known to be very forward thinking in general though.

I enjoyed my time at Hill Top Holdings and our management team was also great to work with. I do wish they did more team building events or just a quick getting to know each other because it would have made it easier to stick around. There was job security there and their benefits were great.

The coworker and managers in the workplace are very nice and very supportive, but not in the actual technical terms. If you need to know something to process the loan and guildline, you’re basically have to ask another loan originator ,the manager doesn’t provide much information but direct you to different people, also, there’s not much sales Support, marketing materials, in the office, depends on your office. But the total expert software is the best on market and the marketing team is very helpful and resourceful. The company does not pay for any of your network expenses and help you with any network connections. basically you’re on your own to get business. Once you’re boarded you don’t have to go to the office. We only have meeting once a month and that’s it, if you’re bringing business that is great, if not you’re gone in 10 months.
