KKR's operations department has suffered from high turnover at the leadership level and hiring of inexperienced professionals to backfill previous leadership. This creates an operational nightmare as the long tenured "leaders" only know KKR's way of completing tasks and aren't open to ideas from new joiners. It's unfortunate as the business allows new joiners to sometime begin meetings in order to have "fresh eyes" provide a new look. Operations side of the house could learn from this model.
