<p>To strengthen the team’s global presence, PortCo Data Operations is seeking to hire a Senior Manager in Shanghai to serve as the APAC Regional PortCo Data Lead. The incumbent will work closely with regional Private Equity deal teams, KKR Capstone – internal strategy team, and Technology teams to digitally transform the KKR internal portfolio monitoring process and associated technology platform, to improve Portfolio Company data collection, portfolio reporting, valuation, etc. While driving continuous transformation &amp; improvement, this role will also own the execution of the on-going processes of Portfolio Company on-boarding, data collection, data quality management, and reporting/ analytics to meet the evolving needs of both regional &amp; global leadership.</p>
<p>This position will report to the Head of Portfolio Company Data Operations. The ideal candidate would have the unique combination of business acumen, strong data analysis &amp; technical skills, and a passion/ interest in private markets investing. It will be critical that the incumbent possess the ability to partner with PE deal teams to quickly learn and understand nuances of Asia portfolio investments to provide more tailored &amp; diligent data monitoring/ control. <p><strong>ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>

<li>Understand (APAC) regional nuances across investment &amp; portfolio management processes, working closely with deal teams to build knowledge/ familiarity with active investments to better serve data collection &amp; reporting needs</li>
<li>Establish and manage Asia-wide processes to drive disciplined and consistent data management; maintaining a single source of truth for Portfolio Company data across its lifecycle, including on-boarding new companies, monitoring existing companies, and reporting on exit activities</li>

<p><strong>QUALIFCATIONS</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>5-7 years or equivalent working in the financial services industry with a finance, accounting, data analysis, research or consulting background</li>
<li>Experience leading IT/ digital transformation, with a proven ability to deliver data projects in an agile environment</li>
<li>Strong technical skills in data querying &amp; manipulation; must have advanced Excel skills and at least mid-level SQL querying abilities (<em>selects, joins, unions etc.</em>)</li>
<li>Advanced analytical &amp; data visualization capabilities, with proficiency in using Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI or similar tools to support those analyses &amp; data visualizations required</li>
<li>Hands on experience managing the full data lifecycle, developing &amp; embedding data controls/ validations, and understanding &amp; driving proper data governance</li>

<li>Update and maintain technology knowledgebase with customer-facing and internal troubleshooting documentation</li>

<li>Identify issues, propose solutions and test new technologies or process changes</li>
<li>Manage end-user technology projects, such as migrations, deployments and introduce new technology solutions</li>

<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven experience as a Desktop Engineer troubleshooting complex technical problems</li>
<li>Proven excellence in customer service, interpersonal and customer-facing skills</li>
<li>Strong listening and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Provides prompt, clear and ongoing communication with end users to define clear expectations</li>
<li>Experience troubleshooting conference rooms, Zoom/Teams conferencing issues, telephony systems, messaging platforms and collaboration tools</li>
<li>Experience troubleshooting issues with Windows 10, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP</li>
<li>Experience with VDI, virtual desktops, imaging workstations, deploying and troubleshooting break/fix hardware and peripherals</li>
<li>Troubleshooting mobility issues related to MDM, MFA, mobile devices, VPN, laptops and remote connectivity</li>
<li>Fluency with Microsoft Office and Exchange and strong troubleshooting knowledge; O365/Azure a plus</li>
<li>Experience working with a service management system (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira, etc.)</li>
<li>Ability to quickly and effectively diagnose and resolve technical issues and eliminate repetitive issues both on-site and remotely</li>
<li>End user-focused, excellent communication skills, and best-in-class customer support</li>
<li>Certifications Preferred</li>
<li>BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field</li>
