This company is forward thinking & is way ahead of any "competitors." I can only speak for my store but our whole store is like a big (2nd) family. With what is taught, you'll realize you'll have to educate most customers. They think they know what they're talking about but resist interrupting, be patient & respond back with confidence and respect. You will get that "one off" customer that thinks their 2008 - 2012 (doesn't matter what make, model or trim) with 200K miles vehicle is in mint condition & thinks our offer is a low-ball offer. If you are younger than the rest of the office they often treat you differently , you get pushed around and they expect you to do double the work because you’re young and can handle it. Do not expect to make what others are. You can have the exact same qualifications and get paid less. They preach to not talking about wages for that reason. You will have new hires making more than people that have been there years. They will continue to throw more and more work on you if you are a hard worker with no pay increase. However, you get a 3% raise if check off all of their boxes after a year.. Truck maintenance not so great because of Penske, but you still get paid even when truck in the shop.
