Credit cards & leads & pro services. This use to be great place to work. The biggest problem is having enough employees from day to day. You can focus all the attention on customers that you want but skeleton crew won’t cut it. We have a great management crew. Let them do there job. Let them start holding associates accountable. You can’t go by the recent years & expect the same the next. Sales were awesome during Covid years. Government not handing out money now. Society is changing. Most of the younger adults don’t want to work the older adults want & will work. Go figure. By the way go to Menards. See how much help you get there. They have plenty of employees who know very little about there job. Corporations only care about the money. They have to answer to stock holders. This store can run itself. Leave us alone. Let the management run the store. There are a good group of associates who work here. Don’t drive them away. To sum up. Managers are incompetent for the most part. Specialist positions in most departments aren't bad good hourly pay with the ability to bonus monthly if you do well. The exception being the Pro specialist position as it only registers sales based on certain payment types so hitting goals is much more difficult as many business customers have their own business/rewards cards. Speaking of business cards getting new credit cards is all the new District and Regional management really want and you will constantly be pressured and threatened to meet unrealistic goals with barely any support from the rest of the store. Main upside to the position is the only set schedule in the store with weekends off. Decent pay if you are a good negotiator. Full time can have set scheduling or work 4 10 hour shifts.
