Never had an issue with taking time off for vacation/day appointments. Benefits are fantastic, and management has always treated me with respect, empathized when projects succeed or fail. Mastercard's tech and engineering culture can be exhausting. Expect multi-year efforts for trivial engineering problems. Mastercard has a tendency to over-complicate, over-engineer solutions. It's a very process-driven company, not engineering driven.
