Pay is very good, small bank pays very well

The CEO os controlled by the head of the GPG business

Fast moving workplace with not much outward support for growth and transition

A typical day at work consists of me sizing debt offering memorandums (RFPs) reviewing the outcome of said sizings with management, quoting the proposed debt based on a number of terms and conditions.
I have learned a tremendous amount about commercial real estate lending and structured financing in working for Metropolitan Commercial Bank.
The workplace culture is very one sided. It is a small team and we strive very hard to surpass growth projections, and we always have.
The hardest part of the job is taking on the role of a senior analyst while actually taking on much of the workload for my direct superiors (i.e. sizing and quoting loans, maintaining schedules, underwriting loans, and tracking transactions all the way to the closing table).
The most enjoyable part of the job is knowing knowing my capabilities which is substantiated through the amount of work completed and the positive result it has on the teams ability to continue to lend more money.
