Most days were spent standing in front of the advertisement feed and making sure you put stacks of advertisements on and kept the line running smooth by watching out for paper jams or anything lodged in the feeder. wasn't trained for anything, they had me work with someone that had started a month before me and that was considered my training. If you couldn't figure out what was wrong with your feeder because you were new, The person in charge of the line would normally start throwing up their hands in disgust wondering why you didn't know what to do. Hours were then cut due to losing a huge advertisement deal. tried to sign up for any day or any time slot only to be given 1 day of work in a month for 3 months straight. needed to leave but i did enjoy the work there. Had some culture and leadership issues.. I worked as a designer on the business side of the organization. Work/life balance was pretty good overall, but I became disappointed in team leadership towards the end of my time there. They understaffed our team, took credit for the team's work, and were completely clueless when it came to leadership skills and team management. They turned over an entire level of team management across all functions in less than a year. Great accomplishment! They probably wanted that to happen, though.
