Office Assistant - London
Why We Need You
PagerDuty is looking for a customer service oriented, resourceful, personable and extremely organized Office Assistant for our rapidly growing London office. In addition, to taking care of our workplace and all day to day requests that keep the office running smoothly, our Office Assistant is the “face” of PagerDuty to our employees and visitors. You will also provide administrative assistance to sales leadership. This role requires an outgoing, positive self-starter with strong attention to detail, professionalism and superb communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for facilities and day to day relationship with landlord (currently WeWork)
Embody the PagerDuty culture and create a warm, welcoming experience for our guests connecting them with the appropriate host in person, or over the phone in a professional manner
Take pride in keeping the office, meeting rooms, and common spaces well organized and tidy
Assist in ordering office supplies, booking meeting rooms, managing access cards, and invoicing processes
Manage access control for the office
Be the liaison with IT for equipment requests and deliveries
Provide administrative support to Sales Leadership
Assist in organizing and managing in-office events, lunch and learns, happy hours and meet ups
Be the first point of contact for new hires when it comes to questions about the office
Manage food and beverage services, catering for the office as needed
Organize office volunteer events to ensure employees meet 1% pledge
Organize small sales, marketing and customer events on-site and off-site
Skills and Attributes
Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent organization and project management skills
A self-starter who seeks out opportunities to make improvements around the office and in our processes
Willing to roll up your sleeves
Experience in organizing in-house events
An outgoing personality with strong customer service orientation
Minimum Qualifications
Must have 2+ years of office/facilities management experience, including the planning and execution of an office move for 30+ people
Prior experience in office space search, site selection and office fit outs
Must have experience working in fast-paced, high growth environments
Must have prior experience with G-suite, Mac platform
On request, must be able to work evenings to assist with events
Preferred Qualifications
Bookkeeping & budgeting experience Prior vendor negotiations and vendor management experience Project management experience
Working knowledge of SFDC software
Has experience with PagerDuty’s product platform for incident management

As a member of the PagerDuty BDR team, you will play a meaningful role in the Sales department.
