Very clicky but very diverse. Stuck up management and horrible HR department.

Poor management of the business
|
Seems to be more questionable stuff going on since the new business unit manager started working there, more layers of management added, poor communication. End of month panic to always get product out the door to meet the monthly goal. 1st week of the month was always slow since orders were moved up to meet the previous end of the month goal. There is a push to make safety a number 1 priority, but sometimes it seems like safety is pushed aside if money is a concern or it will affect shipments. EHS/Management is slow to react to a real time safety concern for example toxic glue smell/smoke in the plant that was making people feel sick. Quality has gone downhill, workforce gets minimal training and then left alone to build the product, operators will make their own judgment call if to determine if product is acceptable to ship, sometimes doing unapproved rework to get the product out the door. If a work cell doesn't like a new employee, they have pushed management to get them moved to a different work cell or get terminated. You always have to watch your back, there are snitches there who would complain about any little thing if they don't like what they see, for example people talking, but then you see the same snitches talking with their clique of coworkers.

Work Hours 6am-2pm, unless you were forced to work OT.

Good work but managers are vindictive and don’t care about you.
|
The leads/managers play favorites and will not listen to you or try to when it comes to certain things. That’s why they hardly keep anyone cause some of them are dirty, mean, and don’t care that people have families.

Great management. Pay is fair. You are pretty much left alone to do your job (no micromanaging), but help is there if you need it. Executives are all down to earth and approachable. Overall - I would say that this is a great place to start a career, as it is far more than just a "job".

Do not work for this company. The management is very poor. They have a poor track record of layoffs. The pay is lousy. The only plus is good insurance.
