Underpaid, Overworked, Long Hours, Understaffed, Out of touch Executives/CEO, Profits prioritized over employees well being, Outdated ideals, Corporate, Poorly managed, No training, Bad and worsening benefits. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 0.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 244926 Open Do any one single thing to show employees you still care about them. Do something to make up for the growing pains of this ill-managed corporate transition. Your employees were already short staffed, overworked, underpaid and between leadership over the last few years. The sudden changes ontop of all of the already abysmal environment have only made things worse and were a slap in the face to employees. When the new CEO first announced the return to office, I remember he joked that he "never understood the idea of work from home", then doubled down with an excuse along the lines of "he could never quite figure out zoom or teams". That says a lot about the amount of respect and consideration that goes into decisions that directly affect the employees. Leadership needs to know that from an employees perspective, the "Culture" that they are trying to create only exists within their small, higher leadership bubble. The actual employees slave away in a drab, lifeless, fluorescent-tinted, impersonal, corporate prison just to be distracted in person with corporate fluff while trying to do their online only jobs. Leadership tries to lure employees back in by putting on a cheery corporate mask to emulate their fake and outdated idea of "Culture". The executive team should look into the countless statistics and studies proving that working from home and working less hours leads to more productivity, happier employees and overall positives across the board for everyone, the business included. Its 2024, not the 1960's. Hire more people, pay us more, own and make up for your mistakes. provide more transparent communication, take a moment to look away from profits and just do better.
