Summit Midstream is seeking a Senior Environmental Compliance Specialist to join the Environmental Team. The position will focus on all aspects of environmental compliance, and will be based in the Houston, TX corporate office. This position will provide services to operating assets based in the following States: ND, CO, NM, TX, OH, and WV. Candidates should have 5+ years of progressive environmental compliance experience, be able to work with little oversight, meet demanding timelines, and produce high quality work products, and should be familiar with the tasks and responsibilities outlined below.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
Air Quality Tasks
Collect monthly operating data, run emission modeling software, and enter data into calculation workbooks and/or Environmental Management System Software
Assist with compiling and submitting reporting requirements for State regulations, GHGs, MACT, NSPS, and Title V Permits
Assist with drafting and submitting air permit applications and modifications
Review draft air quality construction permits for accuracy and reasonableness with Operations
Assist operations with complying with recordkeeping requirements of new permits, O&M plans, and regulations
Conduct on-site facility audits to determine compliance with air permitting and compliance requirements
Implement operational compliance measures as required by new regulations
Use the Environmental Management & Information System (EMIS) software to manage environmental compliance
Interact with State agency representatives and represent Summit Midstream during compliance inspections
Environmental Tasks:
Manage spills, releases, and remediation projects
Identify and initiate revisions to SPCC plans where necessary
Provide/assist in training to operations as identified by the HSE&R team
Conduct annual SPCC inspections at Summit Midstream facilities
Observe/schedule stack testing and sampling activities when necessary
Address identified non-compliance issues with air quality requirements, waste management plans, SPCC plans, or Stormwater plans
Education & Experience:
5+ years of environmental experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry
B.S. or B.A. in Environmental Science or related science/engineering degree
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge and direct experience with air quality permitting and compliance
Knowledge and experience with state air quality, and environmental programs, and the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act
Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs, and particular strength with Microsoft Excel
Experience with EMIS software platforms. Prefer experience with Intelex ACTS software
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Strong technical and analytical skills
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Physical abilities of standing, walking, bending, stretching, and periodic moderate to heavy lifting
Ability to work outside on uneven surfaces and in inclement weather
70% office-based, and 30% field-based
Ability to lift moderate items and walk up steep grades
Ability to travel up to 30% to remote locations in all weather conditions
Primarily based in the Houston, TX corporate office with frequent travel to field offices and facility/pipeline locations
Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions
This position may require work on nights, holidays, and/or weekends

Must demonstrate a working knowledge of OSHA regulations. DOT experience is a plus.
Familiarity with PSM and RMP regulations is a plus

Summary:
This position is responsible for all accounting aspects of the Partnerships revenue accounting process, including (1) the Partnerships allocation of gas plant products, volumes and values accounting at its processing plants, (2) invoicing activities for the Partnerships processing plants and (3) invoicing activities for the Partnerships gathering systems. The role involves collaboration with various operations, marketing, commercial and external customers who may be processors, purchasers or sellers of the produced residue gas and ngl's. The position involves ensuring that the monthly outputs are complete, accurate and timely while at same time ensuring that organizational goals are met in a cost-effective manner and that the accounting records are in compliance with contractual agreements, GAAP and Company Policy & Procedures. The job requires a proactive, self-starter who can work independently with good decision-making skills while interpreting and analyzing information surrounding the recognition, delivery, processing, and allocation of all volumes handled at each plant. This job also requires a team player with high standards of excellence and attention to detail.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform monthly plant volume allocations as well as produce customer invoices and reporting, process PPA's as necessary
Monitor producer volume commitments and bill for any shortfalls that may occur
Maintain superior customer relations with external customers by addressing customer issues and provided accurate and timely information to customers
Work with commercial operations as well as field operations to gain a solid understanding of gas processing contracts and processes
Respond to audit queries as required
Interact with Gas Plant Operations, Commercial and Gas Measurement to ensure accuracy and completeness of data
Maintain/Follow SOX documentation as well as compliance with the documented processes
Education & Experience:

Summary
A Field Operator operates, Inspects, maintains, and repairs pipelines, compression and measurement facilities.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
Inspect, maintain and repair as needed all facilities as assigned, including but not limited to pipelines, compression, and measurement facilities
On-call responsibility for areas of responsibility as needed
Maintain working knowledge of regulatory requirements, (OSHA, DOT, etc) and document required regulatory activities

Operate and assist in maintenance activities at compressor facilities

Use proper tools and equipment to perform integrity management and regulatory tasks on oil or liquids pipelines
Monitor activity in and around pipeline and facilities and respond as necessary to protect system integrity

Respond to pipeline emergencies; perform cleanup associated with field ops and corrosion control activities

Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
2 to 5 or more years of general pipeline experience in the natural gas industry or related experience in similar industry
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge and experience with line location equipment and techniques
Ability to read and utilize drawings, schematics, alignment sheets
Proven knowledge and understanding of procedures used to safely pig pipeline, i.e. launching, receiving and inspection
Knowledge of liquid handling equipment, pigging facilities required
Knowledge to conduct pressure surveys on gathering lines and central delivery points
Experienced in monitoring natural gas quality using sampling equipment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Must have a valid driver license with acceptable driving record

Summary
This positions is responsible for all accounting aspects of the Partnership's revenue accounting process, including (1) the Partnership's allocation of gas plant products, volumes and values accounting at its processing plants, (2) invoicing activities for the Partnership's processing plants and (3) invoicing activities for the Partnership's gathering systems. The role involves collaboration with various operations, marketing, commercial and external customers who may be processors, purchasers or sellers of the produced residue gas and ngl's. The position involves ensuring that the monthly outputs are complete, accurate and timely while at same time ensuring that organizational goals are met in a cost-effective manner and that the accounting records are in compliance with contractual agreements, GAAP, SOX and Company Policy & Procedures. The job requires a proactive, self-starter who can work independently with good decision-making skills while interpreting and analyzing information surrounding the recognition, delivery, processing, and allocation of all volumes handled at each plant. This job also requires a team player with high standards of excellence and attention to detail.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform monthly plant volume allocations as well as produce customer invoices and reporting, process PPA's as necessary
Monitor producer volume commitments and bill for any shortfalls that may occur
Maintain superior customer relations with external customers by addressing customer issues and provided accurate and timely information to customers
Work with commercial operations as well as field operations to gain a solid understanding of gas processing contracts and processes
Respond to audit queries as required
Interact with Gas Plant Operations, Commercial and Gas Measurement to ensure accuracy and completeness of data
Maintain/Follow SOX documentation as well as compliance with the documented processes
Education & Experience:

Summary
A Corrosion Technician tests and maintains Summit's corrosion prevention systems. Performs field surveys and inspections. Applies Summit's engineering standards, material and work specifications, corrosion control equipment and tools, corrosion control system operations, regulatory requirements, maintenance procedures and safe work practices.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
Applies corrosion skills and aptitude to repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform other predictive and preventative maintenance tasks on assigned corrosion control equipment, facilities, systems and associated devices: i.e. Rectifiers, groundbeds, test stations, critical bonds, foreign line crossings, casings, DC and AC Pipe to soil surveys, Bi-monthly rectifier survey, etc.

Recognizes operating deviations and takes appropriate corrective actions.
Reads and interprets drawings and schematics, uses technical resources in the performance of assigned work, uses hand and power tools, and other specialty equipment.
Supervises contractor CP construction.
Participate in customer and emergency agency meetings.
Maintains records for required state, federal, and company procedures and participates in team administrative duties.
Utilizes computers and e-mail for internal and external communications, record keeping, on-line reporting, material, and supply ordering and filing of various forms.
Education & Experience
High School diploma or equivalent or higher.
3 or more years of experience with current corrosion control methods- NACE CP I Certification or higher.
3 or more years of experience with various types of CP troubleshooting.
Experience with internal corrosion methods and recordkeeping.
Familiarity in American Innovations CPDM module is a plus.
Ability to read and understand CIS, DCVG and ACVG surveys.
Working knowledge of CFR 195 Subpart H & 192 Subpart I.
Ability to integrate with other departments to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Completing annual cathodic protection surveys
Completing rectifier and bond inspections

Perform pipeline patrols and inspect lines throughout the area and coordinate the activities of crews at other locations
Utilize hand tools to remove or replace valves, and have a basic understanding of riser locations and underground valves
Perform Lock-out/Tag-out procedures and write Safe Work Permits, as well as performing emergency shut-downs and operations control center protocols
Manage all activities with a focus on safety and compliance
Use proper tools and equipment to perform integrity management and regulatory tasks on oil or liquids pipelines
Monitor activity in and around pipeline and facilities and respond as necessary to protect system integrity, with the understanding of what to do in case of an emergency and/or spill
Look for leaks in the pump room and outside piping
Put in work orders in Maximo, and be able to utilize CYGNET
Maintain required forms, records and reports
Respond to pipeline emergencies; perform cleanup associated with field ops and corrosion control activities
Locate critical valve sets, and the operation of the same in an emergency
