This position will lead and provide support to a team of two, partner closely with the Plant Manager, and serve as a critical member of the Delta Plant Steering Team to guide the day-to-day success of the facility. The Human Resources Manager will provide leadership and direction for recommending, implementing and supporting positive employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale. Limits downtime by reporting equipment problems to maintenance for the troubleshooting and resolution of issues.</li><li>Maintains specifications by detecting non-conformances and inspecting the packaging for defects such as inadequate pleats, air leaks, and code date errors to keep the product within specified limits.</li><li>Complete/fill out downtime sheets, and process control sheets. Confer with next shift operators, and the maintenance department as required.</li><li>Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment, and to work closely with crew leaders, supervisors, and maintenance to successfully manage orders to completion.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Job Skills and Qualification</b></p><ul><li>Knowledge and experience working with packaging machinery in a food processing environment preferred.</li><li>Must be A team player with a mechanical aptitude, who is able to troubleshoot and communicate with maintenance for assistance when required to ensure optimal efficiency.</li><li>Must be able to read, write and communicate fluently in English.</li><li>Must have basic computer skills and a good grasp of math and measuring skills.</li><li>Must be physically fit and able to handle the physically demanding nature of the position, and possess a safety-first approach to work.
