People were said to be “their most important asset”, but assembly plant hourly employees were expected to work overtime (could be 12+ hrs per day) one week when busy and be sent home early the next week, unpaid with little notice. Benefits were average. Not a top company, but a decent company to work for. Most of my coworkers were awesome to work with. The supervisors and leads were pretty awesome too. I worked 2nd shift at the Belmont plant and it was overall a pretty sweet job. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Like all jobs, there were stressful times. The stress for the most part, came from being shorthanded or having incompetent coworkers. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? The atmosphere and culture there was amazing most if the time. There were a few Debbie Downers sprinkled in here and there but all jobs have those What is a typical day like for you at the company? Get to work. Clock in. Go help my float set up the line. Hang out with coworkers and wait for time to start work. The line starts running and it's all business getting mattresses(or toppers it pillows depending on the line you work [I worked them all in my 2 years] ). Find your rhythm and put your product out.
