This role is also responsible for handling all unbilled charges not invoiced by the standard process.  The billing specialist will maintain custody, and scanning of original paperwork received from carriers, respond to e-mails, and follow up and secure required paperwork for invoicing.  </p><p>This position requires someone that is motivated and determined to get results.</p><p></p><p></p><p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ul><li>Ensure customers are invoiced properly and in a timely manner upon receipt of all documents according to the specifications of each customer.</li><li>Research, resolve and invoice all loads rejected by Accounts Payable, within 90 day of delivery date.</li><li>Resolve any request made via email or phone for missing documentation.</li><li>Resolve billing incident requests, auto-invoice failures, by reviewing exception reports in order to initiate invoicing.  </li><li>Maintain, scan and store original paperwork received from the carriers.
