Salary: $39.55 - $41.94 (Rate will be $1 less during probationary period – 900 hours worked).
Shifts Available and Hours:
We are a unionized company
New hires may be required to rotate shifts (Midnights, Afternoons and Day shift – the frequency of the rotation will be determined by the manager).
Pension – with Canada Wide Industrial Pension Plan – employer and employee contributions (Employer - $1.57 per hour worked, Employee - $0.75 per hour worked).
Vacation – 2 weeks as per the Collective Agreement to start, after 5 years, increases to 3 weeks.
Required Education/Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience within industrial environment.
Experience in the aluminium extrusion industry is an asset.
High school diploma
Must possess a valid Ontario Provincial Certificate of Qualifications as Maintenance Mechanic or Millwright.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Ability to read blueprints, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing and welding drawings.
Good troubleshooting skills.
Able to do basic welding and torching.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple daily assignments with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of extrusion equipment would be a definite asset.
Must read, write and speak English.
Basic math skills.
Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Effective troubleshooting and repair of extrusion equipment.
Carry out day to day preventative maintenance checks.
Complete assigned work orders.
Respond to equipment breakdown calls.
Continually update spare parts data.
Report in SCS/ Maintenance database completed work orders and equipment downtime.
Perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance on all equipment related to production operations and building systems.
Identify root and trend analysis, providing innovative solutions to resolve and remedy hydraulic and pneumatic issues.
Provide recommendations for continual improvements and maximize efficiencies.
Pass on technical/mechanical information to mechanical apprentice.
Learn extrusion processes from mechanic A/B.
Maintain a safe work environment, complying with the Company's Health & Safety guidelines.
Able to do lifting.
Other duties as assigned.

Sommaire: L'aide coordonnateur aux pièces de rechanges de l’atelier de maintenance se rapportera directement au directeur de la maintenance et sera responsable de la planification et du contrôle des pièces et matériaux. Il verra à la gestion du système d’inventaire pour supporter le département de maintenance et l’usine.
Éducation requise/Expérience:
Détenir un DEC en génie mécanique ou autre discipline connexe ;
Avoir un minimum de deux (2) ans d’expérience en approvisionnement dans un atelier de maintenance en milieu manufacturier ;
Connaissance du système de maintenance MVP, un atout;
Maîtriser les logiciels de la suite Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, et PowerPoint) ;
Qualités recherchées : Réflexion analytique, compétence en matière de communication et de négociation, rapidité d’exécution et travail d’équipe, sens de l’organisation aiguisé.
Responsabilités:
Gérer et organiser l’inventaire du service de maintenance (pièces de rechange, outils, fournitures) et commander les pièces nécessaires aux travaux d’urgence et aux arrêts pour maintenance préventive;
Comptabiliser l’utilisation des pièces de rechange dans le système d’entretien MVP;
Coordonner le processus d’achats avec le fournisseur et le système des achats de l’organisation- Faire les achats, gérer les stocks à l’aide des systèmes internes;
Effectuer les calculs et les prévisions pour établir les besoins, les quantités à commander, les couts et délais de transport / livraisons pour assurer l’efficience des arrêts de production et travaux d’entretien;
Responsable de l’organisation de l’entrepôt des pièces dans les magasins;
Identifier les pièces nécessaires et indispensables avec la collaboration du directeur de l’ingénierie et maintenance;
Gérer l’entreposage des pièces et produits en s’assurant de respecter les critères d’entreposage, les normes de Santé et sécurité et les règles d’usine;
Responsable de l’identification de toutes les pièces de rechange dans MVP;
Respecter les exigences du service de la planification et de la maintenance.

Job Responsibilities:
Prepares monthly financial information for the plant which includes reconciliation of all G/L accounts and Month end Activities includes but not limited to Inventory Reconciliation, Closing J/E’s, Manage Accruals, Third Party inventory reconciliation, Scrap Analysis reports, KPI’s, Metal Report, Payroll JE’s etc.
Completes all the monthly and quarterly reporting required by HQ.
Performs detailed analysis of monthly variances and works with management team to resolve any issues identified
Prepares monthly and quarterly forecasts, and assist the controller with yearly budgets
Assists in the analysis of customer profitability. This will include some delivery/transportation cost analysis by customer. This will extend to full “profitability by sales mix” analysis.
Identifies costs saving opportunities and reports to Controller/Plant Manager
Freight cost analysis, Actual versus expectations
Analysis of overtime of hourly employees by department and of salaried by department in hours and dollars
Develops capital expenditure justifications, reviews subsequent evaluation of savings and ensures all costs associated are appropriately recorded. Also track and chart performance of capital improvements against projected expectations.
Support A/P and A/R functions
Liaise with other locations relating to inter-company transactions

Shipping Supervisor / Receiver

Job Location: Mississauga, CA
Summary: Responsible for the oversight of daily shipping operations, coordinating and directing the activities of the receiving docks and ensuring all inventory is accurately received, shipped and inventoried. This role will report directly to the Shipping Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate workers’ activities to ensure optimal shift logistics
Assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet operational requirements and maintain accuracy through cycle counts, control systems and forecasting
Ensures compliance to existing work instructions; facilitates continuous improvement initiatives & takes the lead on new program implementations
Meet regularly with team members collectively to monitor progress towards meeting objectives, tracking performance, coach and counsel as well as recognizing team and individual successes
Ensures that all company internal processes and procedures are followed including incoming inventory process and outgoing inventory process
Assist Production department and other departments/functions with investigation of inventory discrepancies. Identify root cause for inaccuracies and suggest solutions for improvement.
Possess excellent listening/communication abilities to lead improvement processes within various areas and levels of the organization
Perform required Oracle & AS400 entries related to warehouse inventory
Ensures all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to and proper training provided
Ensure compliance to the CBA.
Ensure employee records and shipping reports are maintained.
Monitor quality of finished product packaging and correct problems as required.
Able to lead and promote a team environment. Supervising 5 internal along with any third-party external drivers onsite and monitor daily workload compared to expectation.
Work rotating shifts when required.

Job Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Minimum 3 years of related experience in inventory management and logistics management
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel PowerPoint
Database knowledge is preferred – AS400, SAP, Oracle a plus
General knowledge of TMS
Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
Customer service oriented
Highly motivated, self-starting, results oriented, team player
Keen communication abilities to lead improvement processes within various areas and levels of the organization
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
Education and Work Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required

Sommaire: Relevant du Directeur de la maintenance, le planificateur sera responsable de gérer les activités de planification du département de la maintenance. Par conséquent, il sera responsable de la planification des bons de travail reliés aux activités quotidiennes des techniciens en maintenance et production travaillant sur les quarts de jour, soir et de nuit.
Éducation requise/Expérience:
Détenir un DEC en génie mécanique ou maintenance industrielle ou autre discipline connexe;
Avoir un minimum de trois (3) à cinq (5) ans d’expérience en planification de travaux de maintenance en milieu manufacturier ;
Capacité de lire les schémas et plans hydrauliques, mécaniques et électriques, les dimensions et les tolérances ;
Capacité de travailler en équipe et de gérer le stress et les urgences ;
Connaissances pratiques des équipements mécaniques, électriques, hydrauliques, pneumatiques ;
Bilinguisme (écrit et parlé) est essentiel ;
Connaissance du système de maintenance MVP, un atout;
Maîtriser les logiciels de la suite Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, et PowerPoint) ;
Qualités recherchées : Réflexion analytique, compétence en matière de communication et de négociation, rapidité d’exécution et travail d’équipe, sens de l’organisation aiguisé.
Responsabilités:
Doit démontrer quotidiennement une culture où la sécurité est la priorité numéro un ;
Supporter les opérations en assumant un rôle de liaison entre la maintenance, la production et les autres services pour tous les travaux non urgents ;
Être responsable de produire un plan de travail (cédule) réalisable et offre un support constant au Directeur de maintenance ;
Examiner et donner la priorité à toutes les demandes de travail entrant et voir le travail sur place pour obtenir des précisions sur le travail à effectuer ; assigner des heures aux travaux à réaliser;
Estimation des ressources de main-d'œuvre, des matériaux, des permis, des problèmes de sécurité et de l'équipement requis pour effectuer les travaux et leur réussite;
Entrez les réquisitions, réservations matérielles, listes de sélection, réquisitions de magasins et mouvements de marchandises pour les pièces de rechanges ;
Faire les demandes pour des contacteurs externes et gérer leurs arrivées sur le site et leurs tâches ;
Planifier les ressources pour l'achèvement des activités de travail prévues et les autres travaux pouvant survenir en dehors de la cédule prévue ;
Saisir les tâches et les tâches recommandées dans le système de gestion de maintenance (MVP) et s’assurer que la charge de travail des entretiens préventifs est bien équilibrée dans le plan final ;
Organiser et réaliser des réunions de planification de maintenance préventive avec le personnel de maintenance et de la production;
Assurer le suivi des inspections reliées aux équipements du bâtiment et l’usine en général ;
Responsable de la mise à jour du système de gestion de maintenance (CMMS -MVP)
Fournir des rapports post maintenance préventive et fournir des indicateurs d'efficacité et les éléments de suivi requis ;
Assurer l'ordonnancement des bons de travail en planifiant, optimisant et évaluant les ressources internes et externes nécessaires;
Créer et mettre à jour les procédures et taches préventives pour les équipements existants et les nouveaux dans le logiciel de gestion de la maintenance ;
Examiner les travaux incomplets pour s’assurer qu’ils sont reprogrammés en fonction de leur importance.
En collaboration avec la Production, confirmer la disponibilité de l'équipement pour l’entretien programmé
Maximiser la quantité de travail qui peut être effectuée lorsque l'équipement est disponible et gérer les priorités.
S'assurer que toutes les ressources (main-d'œuvre, pièces, services, outils et équipements) externes et internes sont disponibles pour l’exécution des travaux ;
En collaboration avec les autres membres de l’équipe d’entretien, déterminer les priorités afin d’optimiser l’exécution des travaux et ce dans le respect des délais et budgets alloués
Effectuez d'autres tâches connexes assignées par le Directeur de maintenance.

Responsabilités:
Effectuer les réparations et l'entretien de tout l'équipement de l’usine;
Installer les nouveaux équipements électriques et les circuits selon les dispositions du code électrique;
Effectuer les travaux d’installation et de réparation selon les bonnes pratiques du métier;
S’assurer, avec les autres employés du département, que l’atelier demeure en ordre et que l’équipement présent est en bon état;
Participer aux tournées de vérification régulière faite sur l’équipement (feuilles de vérifications);
Assister ses confrères et son supérieur avec l’identification et la sélection des pièces requises pour la réparation d’équipement et/ou l’exécution de projets spéciaux (nouvel équipement, modifications, etc.);
Préparer des réquisitions et en assurer le suivi;
Entrer à l'ordinateur les données relatives aux arrêts de production pour causes mécaniques;
Effectuer des réparations et/ou des modifications sur les équipements;
Participer aux projets spéciaux;
Produire des bons de travail et entrer l’information dans le système informatisé de gestion des bons de travail.

Job Summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for the day to day management of people in the department. The Production Supervisor will report directly to the Packaging & Fabrication Manager.
Required Education/Experience:
Five years packaging and industry related experience
Experience in the use of technology to improve manufacturing processes
College Diploma or Technical Certificate
Comply with Health, Safety & Environmental requirements
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Capable of product and equipment inspection
Conflict resolution skills
Fluency in English, any other languages a plus
Able to communicate orally and in writing effectively with Managers, supervisors, peers and subordinates
Able to operate industry related equipment
Basic mechanical knowledge
Basic math and computer skills
Able to monitor production, recognizing and correcting production related problems
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise the day to day activities of the employees according to departmental requirements.
Ability to monitor packaging; recognizing and correcting packaging related problems.
Capable of product, equipment and packaging inspections.
Provide leadership in implementing and managing the prioritization of work tasks.
Oversees that customer packaging needs are met.
Ensure Health & Safety and Housekeeping objectives are met.
Perform safety reporting, inspections expected of a Supervisor in timely and effectively and enter cases in the system.
Supervise and maintain department areas to ensure that all units/materials are in designated areas.
Assists in ensuring that staffing requirements are met for the department, calling in employees to cover staffing as required.
Provide leadership, engage employees, mentor, coach, and provide developmental guidance for all employees.
Ensures employees receive training as appropriate. Evaluates the performance of probationary hourly employees in consultation with the Packaging Manager.
Examine the Manufacturing Status Report to identify missed orders to ensure completion.
Maintain departmental KPI’s and collaborate to make cost effective improvements.
Act as a liaison between Manufacturing and Shipping to ensure timely delivery of products.
Evaluate schedule to ensure timely packaging of product.
Inspect equipment and work area and contact maintenance as required.
Create and maintain work orders.
Strives to achieve quality targets. Plan work flow and work assignment by due date to ensure maximum utilization of employees, equipment and materials.
Inform appropriate Manager of existing or potential problems involving packaging and personnel.
Maintain accurate employee records on shift, as well as appropriate statistical data to be used to review quality, efficiency, scrap and overall crew performance.
Able to lead and promote a team environment and conducts team meetings.
Dispenses all necessary equipment, tools and supplies to Packaging Personnel.
Enforces the Collective Agreement as appropriate.
Must be available to work all shifts as necessary (nights, days and afternoons)
Must be able to cover vacation for other supervisors.
Must be able work OT when necessary.

Sommaire: Se rapportant à la Directrice des ressources humaines, le technicien(ne) ressources humaines sera responsable de contribuer quotidiennement au développement des compétences et des connaissances des employés dans leur milieu de travail. Dans le cadre de ses fonctions, il/elle devra effectuer diverses tâches administratives en lien avec les RH et aura l'occasion de développer des aptitudes essentielles dans le domaine des RH.

Éducation/Expérience requise:
Posséder un DEC - technique administrative ou bureautique jumelé avec de l’expérience dans un service des ressources humaines ;
Minimum 2 ans d’expérience en gestion des ressources humaines (dans un milieu manufacturier est un atout) ;
Bilinguisme (écrit et parlé) est essentiel ;
Maîtriser les logiciels de la suite Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, et PowerPoint).
Compétences clés:
Discrétion, sens de l’organisation, rigueur, capacité d’adaptation, bonne gestion du stress et des priorités, rapidité d’exécution, esprit d’équipe et sens du service à la clientèle.
Responsabilités:
Planifier la main d’œuvre en fonction de la convention collective en vigueur (cédule hebdomadaire) en collaboration avec les superviseurs ;
Coordonner certaines activités du processus de paie ;
Administrer et effectuer la mise à jour des dossiers physiques et informatiques du personnel ;
Gérer les réclamations de Santé et Sécurité au travail (volet réparation) ;
Participer au processus de recrutement (entrevue téléphonique, prise de références, suivi des candidats) ;
Préparer et faire le suivi des rapports statistiques mensuels ;
Répondre aux questions des employés et des gestionnaires ;
Participer à divers projets d’amélioration continue des services RH ;
Planifier des activités de formation et de reconnaissance des employés ;
Veiller à la formation des nouveaux employés dans le cadre de leur période d’accueil et d’intégration;
Gérer les diverses formations des employés à l’aide d’outils informatiques;
Encadrer le cycle de formation en suivant du début jusqu’à la fin la formation d’un appliquant pour un poste ou qualification à l’interne et s’assurer du bon fonctionnement;
Collaborer avec les formateurs et employés en formation pour avoir leurs commentaires;
Effectuer toutes autres tâches connexes.
