Pension – with Canada Wide Industrial Pension Plan – employer and employee contributions (Employer - $1.57 per hour worked, Employee - $0.75 per hour worked). Vacation – 2 weeks as per the Collective Agreement to start, after 5 years, increases to 3 weeks.                     Required Education/Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience within industrial environment. Experience in the aluminium extrusion industry is an asset. High school diploma Must possess a valid Ontario Provincial Certificate of Qualifications as Maintenance Mechanic or Millwright.   Preferred Skills/Qualifications:  Ability to read blueprints, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing and welding drawings. Good troubleshooting skills. Able to do basic welding and torching. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple daily assignments with minimal supervision. Knowledge of extrusion equipment would be a definite asset. Must read, write and speak English. Basic math skills. Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.   Job Responsibilities: Effective troubleshooting and repair of extrusion equipment. Carry out day to day preventative maintenance checks. Complete assigned work orders. Respond to equipment breakdown calls. Continually update spare parts data. Report in SCS/ Maintenance database completed work orders and equipment downtime. Perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance on all equipment related to production operations and building systems. Identify root and trend analysis, providing innovative solutions to resolve and remedy hydraulic and pneumatic issues. Provide recommendations for continual improvements and maximize efficiencies. Pass on technical/mechanical information to mechanical apprentice. Learn extrusion processes from mechanic A/B. Maintain a safe work environment, complying with the Company's Health & Safety guidelines. Able to do lifting. Dans le cadre de ses fonctions, il/elle devra effectuer diverses tâches administratives en lien avec les RH et aura l'occasion de développer des aptitudes essentielles dans le domaine des RH.   Les finissant(e)s sont les bienvenu(e)s !   Éducation/Expérience requise: Posséder un DEC - technique administrative ou bureautique jumelé avec de l’expérience dans un service des ressources humaines ; Minimum 2 ans d’expérience en gestion des ressources humaines (dans un milieu manufacturier est un atout) ; Bilinguisme (écrit et parlé) est essentiel ; Maîtriser les logiciels de la suite Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, et PowerPoint).   Compétences clés: Discrétion, sens de l’organisation, rigueur, capacité d’adaptation, bonne gestion du stress et des priorités, rapidité d’exécution, esprit d’équipe et sens du service à la clientèle.   Responsabilités: Planifier la main d’œuvre en fonction de la convention collective en vigueur (cédule hebdomadaire) en collaboration avec les superviseurs ; Coordonner certaines activités du processus de paie ; Administrer et effectuer la mise à jour des dossiers physiques et informatiques du personnel ; Gérer les réclamations de Santé et Sécurité au travail (volet réparation) ; Participer au processus de recrutement (entrevue téléphonique, prise de références, suivi des candidats) ; Préparer et faire le suivi des rapports statistiques mensuels ; Répondre aux questions des employés et des gestionnaires ; Participer à divers projets d’amélioration continue des services RH ; Planifier des activités de formation et de reconnaissance des employés ; Veiller à la formation des nouveaux employés dans le cadre de leur période d’accueil et d’intégration; Gérer les diverses formations des employés à l’aide d’outils informatiques; Encadrer le cycle de formation en suivant du début jusqu’à la fin la formation d’un appliquant pour un poste ou qualification à l’interne et s’assurer du bon fonctionnement; Collaborer avec les formateurs et employés en formation pour avoir leurs commentaires; Effectuer toutes autres tâches connexes.   Care, Courage, & Collaboration At Hydro We care about our People!
