They let me take my dog to work No micromanagement People are nice for the most part, management promotes a culture of encouraging good physical health and a good work-life balance

1.Outside of the Austin location, working at Guaranty Bank & Trust is like working at a very conservative bank from the 1950’s. 2. Management does not care at all or prioritize their support staff’s career or growth. There needs to be a clear path for promotion and eligibility criteria. Not just “do a good job and eventually it’ll pay off”. 3. If you get lucky, you’ll work with one of the lenders that actually knows their pipeline and has a good work ethic. Otherwise, your job will feel like more of a babysitter rather than a lending assistant. Jason needs to get off Tik Tok. 5.There is a lot of favoritism and gossip which makes it feel like a high school environment, you’re all old enough to behave in a professional manner.

Backstabbing coworkers and lenders that are very difficult to work with made it impossible to continue employment here. I am extremely grateful to have left an environment where I am not appreciated and are not learning and challenged everyday. Leadership needs to hold each other accountable and realize that the business cannot function properly without all of the support staff. Treat your young employees as people, we want to grow and learn and our careers are as equally important.
