The startup-like environment allows you to wear many hats, learn valuable skills & work with high-level contacts outside of the company. Unique products and partnerships which made selling very exciting.

Very poor management, gender-biased work environment, consequences for whistle-blowing, very slow to act (almost seemingly apathetic?) in regards to multiple reports of sexual harassment, limited growth potential in sales, simply too much politics.

some senior mangers and directors were good to work with
fairly good communications
products sold seemed ok

executive management micro managed way too many things
executives always pushing unrealistic revenue targets. never made the overall target
executives not listening to customers, nor listening to mid managers/ directors
lots of chiefs for so few workers
engineering innovation was lacking
engineering team not motivated
production team lack of control over process and vendors caused shortages

Any easy going place if you are one of the Gifford family. Chance to play with variety of mobile devices. A great place if you want to explore your laziness, ability to lie and general incompetence. Friday morning pastries are the one bright spot in the week. You may probably get a free phone when you start. If you are a biker or a golfer, you can easily come work here.

Absolutely incompetent management. Over 10 quarters of losses. Lot of employees with 'family' connections. There is no one single major bad thing apart from the inability of the management to execute effectively. All sales targets are missed every quarter with no corresponding changes in sales or in management. Upper management is either obsessed with biking or with golf. Don't expect to get paid top dollar for your efforts.
