box of frogs is creative training and development company. We aim to do work that is brilliant, brave, bold and beautiful.
We design and deliver creative, interactive programmes to get service users involved in making decisions, training workers and influencing the services they need from ground to board level.
We facilitate groups, workshops, conferences and events for change
We have a small theatre company who perform at training and conference events nationwide. They engaging the audience in dialogue about the issues / problems facing people using services and how best to solve them. Our actors are all people with experience of receiving support services for a variety of reasons e.g. homelessness, drug and alcohol issues, mental health, physical health, age etc.
We engage people, organisations and communities in exploring pertinent issues and identifying possible solutions. This might be through focus groups, training events, conferences, performances or exhibitions
We run training programmes such as peer reviewing, peer mentoring and mystery shopping which create opportunities for service users to improve services and volunteer in the work place.
We provide volunteering and work opportunities for current and ex service users supporting them to move into further training or employment.
We also do the unexpected and have been known to pop up with films, exhibitons, guerilla art...it's rare that we say no.
