Our employees enjoy flexible work schedule, tuition reimbursement and a competitive benefits package.</p><p><strong>Senior Revenue Accountant</strong></p><p>In collaboration with the Accountant team, this position is responsible for applying generally accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements, and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures. Key responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Verify, allocate, and review general ledger reconciliations and schedules.</li><li>Ensure reports, postings, reconciliations, and customer payments processed are compliant with the internal controls and procedures in place; and aligned with general accounting principles.</li><li>Periodic review of transaction postings within the general ledger.</li><li>Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for reconciliation and Balance Sheet review.</li><li>Process more complex journal entries and reconciliations as needed.</li><li>Maintain and update process documentation manuals.</li><li>Review contracts in place to ensure customer billings for Government and Non-Government customers are aligned with the CLIN structures of the contracts.</li><li>Monitor customer’s Sales Tax Exemption Certificates.</li><li>Monitor and ensure that all taxable sales are correctly being taxed.</li><li>Ensure outstanding customer billings are collected timely and in accordance with the Company’s collections policies.</li><li>Monitor customer cash collections to ensure the Company’s cash collections targets are met monthly and quarterly.</li></ul><p>Successful candidates will have: </p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field such as business administration, finance and accounting</li><li>Minimum of four (4) years of general accounting experience required </li><li>One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred</li><li>Experience in the government contracting arena is a must. </li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Word, PowerPoint.</li></ul><p> </p>
