Ask The Doctor was the idea of two Canadian entrepreneurs – Prakash Chand and Dr. Suneel Sharman. Both are from Winnipeg, Canada but the idea was envisioned while at a café on the Toronto harbor. As the project grew, it expanded to the US and became known ATD Health Network Inc. In 2013 Mr. Suresh Kanumuri joined on as CTO bringing his vast development knowledge to the table. Today Ask The Doctor is quickly becoming the most trusted and popular source of personalized medical information and medical advice in the world.
Prakash Chand is the CEO of Chand Investment Group based out of Toronto, Ontario. It was started after he retired from his badminton career. He has extensive knowledge in web development and advertising and his goal is to make Ask The Doctor the world's largest easy to use medical information website for the general public.
Dr Suneel Sharman completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Toronto. In addition to his busy clinical practice, he has done extra training in sports medicine and cosmetic medicine. He is also an adjunct professor at the university of Toronto where he teaches second year medical students. His goal is to make complex medical knowledge freely available to the world.
Mr. Suresh Kanumuri has over 15 years of experience in Information Technology. He is an expert in Internet Technology, Web Based Business Models and Business Analytics. Suresh has worked as a Business Analytics expert and Specialist for DTE Energy in Detroit, Michigan until 2011. He has also been an investor and advisor in Gaadi.com. He moved back to his hometown Hyderabad, India and in 2013, Suresh officially became the CTO of Ask The Doctor.
