It was very long management sucked I learned how to sell and print off credit cards the hardest part is trying to get a specific amount of credit cards sold in one shift the enjoyable part is the free stuff for getting a certain amount of credit cards sold

Fun place to work, management before turnover was great

Loved everything about working there until 2015. I stayed until 2018 which was after numerous amounts of lay-offs and corporate acting like they don't care nothing about their employees or managers.

Management is an absolute joke. They will pay someone who has been there 18 years $18 but then pay other people that dont do anything $26. Needless to say if you’re not in good with management and don’t kiss their behind, you won’t get paid as much.

The company is way too focused on their credit card sales. Bass Pro Shops used to be known for their legendary customer service and unique shopping experience, but now is so far out of reach with the customer service aspect of the business.

Great if you only need spending money as a student

Been there since September. My hours have been cut from 30 to 12. I have to pay my own bills as an adult. Can't survive on 12 hours a week. Was guaranteed 24-28 when hired.

The company is trash and a joke. They only have full time positions for leads and management, then part time for the work horses who run register, stock shelves, sell and help customers. And you will never get a full time position, being a lead is trash, and managers stay until they retire because they can do the least for the most pay. As well the managers push the credit cards when no one wants any, because they get $8 for them and we get a $1. Which is something they’ll leave out of interviews, along with cutting hours and lazy management.

Being everywhere at once. Being trained and expected to run forklift with no pay raise but is expected to just do it.

Casual mostly. Sometimes busy.
