private:bikenewyork Dec 6th, 2012 12:00AM Open Open Bike New York Assistant Director of Events New York, NY USA Goal oriented company with a fun hard working staff There is no such thing as a typical day at Bike New York. Monday could find me in a meeting with high level members of the NYPD, Tuesday could find me in the back of a truck, loading event supplies. Everyday brought something new, which I loved. The staff and management was fantastic. They fostered a team work ethic, and it showed in the staff. We all pitched in where we could to help out other departments. It was truly a team at Bike New York. There were definitely some tough days, and I feel the hardest part of my job was working to change an antiquated volunteer structure. Many of the long time volunteers were very resistant to changes, which was tough. However, the best part of the job was event day, when everyone put aside whatever differences they may have had to ensure the events happened with out a hitch. work/life balance, friendly staff, decent benefits a small staff meant everyone was pulling double or triple time when things got busy. 1.0 0.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 4.0 4.0 5.0 Jan 18th, 2021 09:50AM Mar 20th, 2021 03:12PM Bike New York
