Terrible place to work and was the worst job I ever had. Upper management was a joke and there was never a path to further your career unless you were in the inner circle. Also, mandatory happy hours are not fun. Mean girl culture for sure.

Great people, not so great management

I was at Birchbox for about 3 years and in that time my team went from 5 managers to 1. Then the company was acquired by FemTec and things just went downhill from there.

As an intern, I spent my time doing grunt work in excel. My direct supervisor was mean and at most times unavailable. It doesn't seem like much work is getting done between the cliquey catty office culture. Also, it would have been nice to get paid. Unpaid internships widen the inequality gap and should not exist in 2021.
