The place is full of issues
|
While I worked there my supervisor was aware of a lot of favoritism and racism/sexism going on, however they refused to do anything about it, in fact they were the main source of it. Yeah, there were a handful of supportive and caring people but they were few and far between. BSC is all about the money and not abour ths students

|
Entire campus of corruption, only keep yes-men that keep the circle of corruption in motion. Executives keep increasing their salaries several times a year, use unfair hiring practices to hire friends or relatives and promote undeserving staff based solely on their looks.

Long days that seem to bleed into the next for little pay or appreciation. Coworkers are often being negative about the interactions between students and even our boss.

Great College to work for-Would love more teaching hours

I have worked for Bismarck going on 8 years as an online Professor. I love the College's staff, goals and assisting students with being successful. There has been a slow decline in online classes being offered and I would love to be teaching more sessions. I am looking for other exclusive online teaching opportunities to ensure my ability to continue teaching and helping other people achieve their educational and professional goals.

Don't work for BSC

I was hired as Faculty/Director of a Tech Program. I always worked 80-100 hours per week. Rarely felt like I could safely take time off. Dean always scheduled meetings during semester break times off. Wanted to improve my program, always pushed aside for other programs that were the President's pet programs. Nepotism and favoritism run rampant, regardless of knowledge, skills and abilities. The only way faculty learns at BSC is by getting into trouble. Policies are hard to find, but if you do not know them, that is how you find out - by getting into trouble. Due to budget cuts never received raises. After 5 years of constant work, my contract was not renewed and no explanation was given other than - North Dakota is a Right to Work state.

Overloaded!!
|
The management loves to take credit when something good happens if it happens but when something bad happens they step to the side every time and let everybody know they had nothing to do with it.. Lead by example is not know at this place, it is CYA all the way because everybody is overloaded with work!!
