Cons
- Personality cult of the owner, Angel Vina, also stealing ideas from employees and getting rid of them afterwards.
- If you decide to leave the company, Denodo will refuse to pay any pending sales commissions they owe you. In my case, it was a considerable amount of money earned several months before my departure. The orders to withhold pay come straight from the top. They do this because they believe they can get away with it and trust former employees won't sue them.
- Very poor leadership in upper management. Employees are not trusted to do the right thing and are heavily micromanaged (office attendance, working hours, management reporting, expenses, etc.), leading to a toxic work environment.
- Compensation, time-off, perks, and benefits offered are below market level.
- "Employee development" is not a thing. The company doesn't invest anything in employee education or training. Also, Denodo is not growing fast, so it doesn't offer a lot of options to advance in your career once you're in.
- The technology is very niche (only useful in a handful of scenarios) and the business model is very antiquated, with rigid licensing and very traditional deployment strategies. The product is far behind current software industry standards and best practices.

Not Perfect, But a Great Place to Work

Denodo is a rapidly growing company and has an excellent product that all organizations need to become data-driven and agile enterprises.
Is the company perfect? Of course not...but some of the other reviewers are so negative that they clearly have an axe to grind and will tell blatant lies rather admit something positive about Denodo.
The company is growing at over 50% per year (revenues and employees!) so Denodo is suffering from some of the teething problems that all companies go through during a period of rapid growth. I wish that they weren't there or that Denodo could fix these problems quicker, but they are a fact of life at the moment. Get over it people and stop whining!
The technology and the product *is* leading edge - despite the naysayers - and the Denodo has a fantastic customer base of leading Fortune 500 companies, most of whom have said that they will recommend the product to others. Working at Denodo means working with leading technologies like the Cloud, Big Data, advanced analytics (ML/AI), and so on.
All new hires get trained...period. Graduate entrants spend their first six months learning the technology and the company before they move into their actual roles. More experienced hires still go through product training and Sales training - depending upon their final role.
You also work with great colleagues who are dedicated to the company and the product - the more experienced amongst us have worked at other companies and we know what a bad organization is really like. We know how good Denodo really is. (Of course, if your first job out of college is at Denodo and we don't happen to have your favorite Muesli as a snack, then you might feel that the sky is falling).

Denodo is a rapidly growing company and - because of that - it's suffering from growing pains. Sometimes it would be better if some organizational things got sorted quicker, but that's the challenge of growing so quickly. I would prefer these problems to those of stagnation and layoffs.
Some long-time employees feel aggrieved that new people have been brought onboard in more senior positions. That is also a consequence of rapid growth - needing to fill out the teams for the *next* stage of growth - and that sometimes means bringing in new talent and more experienced talent. It doesn't mean that the 'old timers' are not valued or appreciated - but tenure shouldn't be the factor driving who does what role (management or otherwise).

Address the pain points within the organization quicker - don't let inefficient processes hinder the company's growth.
Continue to devolve decision-making - the company is growing too quickly for every decision to come from senior management. Give the regions and countries more autonomy.
Other than that, keep on doing what is clearly working :^)

The leadership management is worse and doesn’t know how to empower employees.
They wouldn’t spend any penny on professional growth of employees neither would provide any benefit.
They don’t have any Human Resource department only one person who is office manager handle all HR related issue.

A product that really works in a market that really needs it. Talented engineers, good product team, global offices.

Micromanagement from the very top, a refusal to invest in supporting employees, and no career development. Employees are constantly harassed about attendance within working hours of 9 to 6, but expected to put in extra hours to meet deadlines. Management refuses to allow teams who are overworked and spread across too many projects to hire more people to handle workload. No HR department, very poor follow up for people interviewing, and benefits that are far below industry standards. All this, and employees get zero equity.
