THE STORY Larry was a starter at Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, NC, where he spent many long days hustling unsuspecting colleagues and college students out of their lunch money. He didn’t hit it a long way, nor did he always hit it straight, but he made everything with the flat stick. He was a match for anyone. After one too many wins, he was greeted one day with a sign that hung in the pro shop with his picture attached. “Don’t play with this guy. He’s Dirty. And he’ll take your money!” And so, the name "Dirty Larry"​ was born. This went on for years, for many more unfortunate souls brave enough to ask for a match, not knowing they would be pummeled into the turf by a man three times their age. THE COMPANY Dirty Larry Golf, LLC was formed in March of 2013 in the sweet, southern state of North Carolina. Larry used his putting expertise to design a putting aid that he initially envisioned selling out of the trunk of his Cadillac to local teaching professionals. He knew it could really benefit their business and clientele. Since the inception, the product has undergone nine full-scale revisions in prototyping. With each new stage, Larry gathered feedback from his peers, and the response was astounding. He knew right away that he had created something much bigger than a fly-by-the-seat-of your pants penny project.
