<p>The Fortnite Creative Team is bringing the entire toolset of Unreal Engine and the Unreal Editor to developers and creators to make and publish experiences within Fortnite.&nbsp; On Fortnite Creative, the UI plays an integral role as the primary means for Creators to create new games and <span class="WKL2">experiences.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p>
<p>You will lead the development of several new in-game and meta UI experiences as we flesh out and develop Fortnite Creative, allowing creators to build the next generation of amazing gameplay experiences.</p>

<p>As a lead of a small team of UI programmers, you will be expected to be hands-on and contribute across a variety of online full-stack UI features on all hardware platforms.</p>

<li>Work collaboratively with partners to develop detailed test plans for complex features and train external teams on how to test features effectively.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain best practices for QA tools for issue tracking, community bug reporting, automation, etc.</li>
<li>Build, maintain and evaluate relationships with multiple QA vendors.</li>
<li>Continually update internal QA documentation and up-skill production team members.</li>

<p>We’re looking for a QA Manager to own the QA process within the Epic Games Publishing (EGP) team. This person will lead the testing process for all EGP projects, including owning the testing strategy, test plans, vendor management, and partner relationships between multiple studios of developers and QA testing groups. We’re looking for an IC who wants to dig into complex problems and find innovative solutions at scale.</p>

<li>Work with multiple external partners to plan out product level testing strategies for titles in later stages of development.</li>
<li>Build positive working relationships with key stakeholders across multiple external studios and testing groups.</li>
<li>Develop pass/fail criteria for different stages of development and provide highly detailed reporting and feedback on testing progress on a regular basis.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with partners to develop detailed test plans for complex features and train external teams on how to test features effectively.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain best practices for QA tools for issue tracking, community bug reporting, automation, etc.</li>
<li>Build, maintain and evaluate relationships with multiple QA vendors.</li>
<li>Continually update internal QA documentation and up-skill production team members.</li>

<h3><strong>What We Do</strong></h3>
<p>The Fortnite Creative Team is bringing the entire toolset of Unreal Engine and the Unreal Editor to developers and creators to make and publish experiences within Fortnite.&nbsp; On Fortnite Creative, the UI plays an integral role as the primary means for Creators to create new games and <span class="WKL2">experiences.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p>
<p>You will lead the development of several new in-game and meta UI experiences as we flesh out and develop Fortnite Creative, allowing creators to build the next generation of amazing gameplay experiences.</p>
<h3><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h3>
<p>As a lead of a small team of UI programmers, you will be expected to be hands-on and contribute across a variety of online full-stack UI features on all hardware platforms.</p>
<h3><strong>In this role, you will&nbsp;</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Drive prototyping, implementation, and execution of major Creative UI screens and flows</li>
<li>Work with other discipline leads to ensure that UI meets aesthetic and functional requirements</li>
<li>Attend to every detail, especially with regard to compliance, layout, and design</li>
<li>Grow and mentor a small team of UI programmers</li>
<li>Architecting, planning, and implementing new UI systems</li>
<li>Contribute ideas toward all aspects of the game’s production and development</li>
<li>Write robust, maintainable code</li>
<li>Work closely with artists, designers, and other programmers on cutting-edge features that support player experiences across Fortnite</li>
</ul>

<li>Exceptional C++ programming skills&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving, logic, and troubleshooting skills.</li>
<li>Online service integration experience</li>
