We’re looking for a "techie" interested in helping us with all aspects of software development and testing. Interest or experience in one or more of the following areas is a must:
Web streaming, web cloud integration, computer vision/image recognition and image processing. Be a part of a small team and do real work that will have a meaningful impact on the lives of many people.Working under the guidance of eSight's senior Software Engineers, this role will have a hands-on, design-driven contribution to the eSight Eyewear device. A high degree of team participation and co-operation is essential. Working closely with hardware and systems designers, other software developers, test engineers, and external partners.
Must have Skills & Competencies:
Currently completing a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Systems Engineering.Experienced with software design processes.Programming languages including but not limited to C, C++, Java, Javascript.Familiarity with hardware is a nice to have.Excellent written and oral communication skills.

You must be an actively enrolled in an accredited post-secondary.
About this role:
We’re looking for a "techie" interested in helping us with all aspects of software development and testing. Interest or experience in one or more of the following areas is a must:
Web streaming, web cloud integration, computer vision/image recognition and image processing. Be a part of a small team and do real work that will have a meaningful impact on the lives of many people.Working under the guidance of eSight's senior Software Engineers, this role will have a hands-on, design-driven contribution to the eSight Eyewear device. A high degree of team participation and co-operation is essential. Working closely with hardware and systems designers, other software developers, test engineers, and external partners.
Must have Skills & Competencies:
Currently completing a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Systems Engineering.Experienced with software design processes.Programming languages including but not limited to C, C++, Java, Javascript.Familiarity with hardware is a nice to have.Excellent written and oral communication skills.

<p>As UX/Product Intern, you will be involved in a wider range of design activities with a primary intent being user research and testing, which will further enhance and help us deliver better product and services. </p>

<p><strong><u>You must be an actively enrolled post-secondary student with full time availability from January 2020 - April 2020.</u></strong></p>

<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):</strong></p>
<ul><li>Proficient in creating design artifacts using tools as Sketch, Adobe creative suite.</li><li>Analyze customer list and identify research participants, schedule calls and help facilitating user research and usability testing.</li><li>Analyze and synthesize user research to produce insights that will lead us into deeper understanding of users.</li><li>Generate report that summarizes user research findings and specify design recommendations.</li><li>Work closely with cross-functional teams such as design, product management, engineering and marketing. </li></ul>

<p><strong>Skills and Competencies:</strong></p>
<ul><li>Majoring or specializing in studies of: Digital Design, User Experience Design, Human Computer Interaction.</li><li>Experience with design tools (e.g. Sketch, Adobe creative suite, Invision, Axure etc.)</li><li>Solid understanding of information architecture, user flows, user journey maps, wireframes, prototypes and visual interfaces.</li><li>Knowledge in conducting usability testing sessions and report results.</li><li>Experience in conducting quantitative user research.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in articulating and presenting design concepts, reports etc.</li><li>You have excellent interpersonal skills and able to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization.<br></li></ul>
