Fatsoma provides the technology to connect people with the events they love.
Founded in 2006 and based in Manchester’s Northern Quarter; we are an event marketing platform that enables promoters to connect with their fans and sell out their events. With over 15,000 event promoters and organisers using our platform to market their events to more than 6m people across the UK we dominate the student and Gen Z ticketing market for nightlife, live music and festivals.
We’re proud of how we empower people with a passion for events to turn their love into a living. And, although we’re a technology business, at our heart we’re a social platform that is about getting people to have “real life” experiences with friends.

We recruit the best people with the right skills and then empower them to use those skills. We’ve got a clear vision of where we want to get to and what we need to do to get there. You’ll be given ownership and responsibility for specific projects and deliverables and then empowered to deliver them. We do expect people to roll their sleeves up and just get on with it.
There are no hierarchies, no sacred cows and if you’ve got a better way of doing it, we want to hear it. You are given the support to champion ideas and turn them into a reality. We encourage healthy debate, data-driven experimentation and welcome criticism that generates a solution.
It’s also an incredibly collaborative environment. There are no silos; we pull the right people together to develop new ideas, fix whatever needs fixing and deliver constant improvements. We work together and let everyone contribute their area of expertise.
The Practicalities
We're a distributed team which means our employees have the freedom to work from home or wherever they want; we stay connected with online collaboration tools and regular communications.
However, we were founded on a belief that people should get together! We love spending time together in person, it’s what we’re all about after all. We arrange regular briefings, brainstorming sessions, team days and socials so that you’ll always feel part of the Fatsoma family regardless of where you chose to work.
When you’re in the office, you’ll be based in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter with some of the city’s best restaurants, cafes and community spaces on the doorstep. There’s a diverse mix of personalities that find common ground in everything from team sports, quizzes, beer & cocktails in the office as well as the odd big night out.
