Fogstone Games is the outlet for Thurston Searfoss' various strategy computer games. These games start back in 1991 with the first release of Lost Admiral for deep thinking naval strategy in a turn based format. LA was sold on store shelves at stores like EB, Game Stop, etc and was developed in partnership with QQP (Quantum Quality Products) and Bruce Williams as co designer and owner of QQP.
Other games released with QQP were Conquered Kingdoms for fast turn based battles using medieval units like cavalry, knights, archers, alongside fantasy units like dragons, wizards, and trolls.
The last game published with QQP was Grandest Fleet which expanded on the naval action of Lost Admiral by adding ranged combat, advanced units, and a varied economic system.
In more recent years, Lost Admiral Returns was released in 2005 as a totally renovated version of Lost Admiral’s quick game play with a whole layer of new missions and customized flagships in addition to the strong core game mechanics.
Future game work is being determined as technologies and gaming platforms continue to evolve. Particularly the rich possibilities hands on gaming that tablet computers such as the iPad are trailblazing.
