- Fully remote was nice.
- Co-workers were nice.
- I got the impression upper management actually cared about the employees.
- Higher ups asked for my input and feedback and it was thoughtfully taken into consideration. Even if it wasn't my area of expertise.
- Usually pretty good documentation for both design and programming.
- I was encouraged to and welcomed to reach out to anyone else at Gearbox for help if I needed it. Everyone was very helpful and willing to collaborate.

- Assigned tasks for myself personally varied wildly at times, forcing me to learn entire new systems on a weekly basis which slowed my productivity.
- The Embracer fiasco caused a number of projects to get put on pause, including the one I was working on. Thankfully there were no layoffs and the company said they would do everything they could to prevent layoffs, which they seem to have stuck to.

People you work with are very nice, open minded and human. A lot of your co-workers feel like actual people and it's easy to communicate and make connections. Some of the projects you work on are also cool.

Poor business decisions made by the CEO and barely any money to be made. Work hours aren't as flexible as described either.
