We are known for being on the leading edge of understanding individual differences, developing Integrated Type™, a multiple lens approach to helping individuals develop Human Agility. This approach helps them recognize their unconscious operating systems that inform their behaviors, how they make meaning of the world, what environments they can be most nurtured and productive in, how they can better relate to and communicate with others, and their developmental path. At the core of Human Agility is the capacity to take perspectives and recognizing our unconscious operating systems can help us develop this capacity, getting out of fusion with those perspectives, and being able to separate from our projections. Each of the CORE models, Interaction Styles, Essential Motivators (aka Temperament), and Cognitive Styles brings different information to understanding those operating systems. With four patterns each, they are simple enough to grasp quickly and put to use, yet are complex enough to study for a lifetime. They are practical enough to affect the bottom line and dynamic enough to support development. Each gives us some simple rules of the complex human systems that we are. Linda Berens Institute started in 1988 as a sole proprietorship called Temperament Research Institute. It has gone through several name changes over the years and was known as Interstrength Associates, Linda Berens Consulting, and Integral Typeworks. Our mission has always been to understand and share wisdom principles of human understanding. We got our start with the work of David Keirsey and then conducting MBTI® certification programs.
