Flexible work environment

Working as a temp nurse and so far I love my job site. Management and my coworkers are very supportive and helpful considering I've never worked at MGH or as outpatient. The hours are flexible enough for me to have another full time job and still have work life balance. I would say the pay is decent for the amount of work I do and the days that I'm in office.

Great overall

Overall, a great hospital to work for with inspiring, brilliant, kind coworkers. Supportive management in my department. Salary is fair in my department but can vary. Downsides are that the parental leave benefits for employees other than physicians is the bare minimum, zero financial support for professional development in my department, HR can be disorganized.

They hired me then realized they didnt want to execute the job description

Worst ever but that was because they didn't even onboard me or let me do anything. It was obvious they had the staff they needed, and the project they hired me for was an idea that could not be implemented. So they ignored me and then they laid me off. They acted mean and were lost the whole time. HR was less than helpful. If I had been hired into a real job there it would have been fine. I wasn't! It didn't work out, but if we had had a better plan it would have. Corona made it impossible. So I was laid off.
