I hope to get my new hip in a couple of weeks after waiting well over a year, and hope to get a physio who will work with me on customised exercises - short videos of such exercises are so much better than just pictures and directions, especially when, like me, there are long standing issues that make standard exercises unsuitable. The weekly Joint School videos have been very supportive during the wait. There are regular videos from consultants giving advice on exercise , what to expect after the operation...There are videos with demonstrations of exercises so you don't just look at a piece of paper.
