Profit is only made from tips. Surprisingly only about 50% of customers will tip. Tipping is done via their website because the company takes a percentage of every tip that YOU
earn by providing excellent quality, thoughtful, quick service to customers. Management cannot be reached. They intentionally do not provide ANY contact information ANYWHERE. Go ahead and try to find a way to contact someone at Postmates right now. Good luck! Also, the IRS informed me that this is considered a "self-employed position" which means you will pay self-employment tax on the money you make, that is, if you miraculously make enough money. I did not. You end up spending any money you make to pay for fuel and repairs for your vehicle. You can also purchase your own insurance and items bearing the company logo, both of which result in you giving any profit you squeezed out of this job, back to the company. Yep. If you enjoy volunteering, this job is for you!

Unfortunately this company does not pay enough to work full time, but is ok to use for a Second job in your spare time for your extra money.

getting deliveries aren't hard. although you have some slow days and times. bonuses aren't really bonuses because the money is usually the same with or with out guarantees but having them is a plus. you get to set your own hours and having multiple deliveries at one time really helps to succeed with minimal movement and time spent

I like driving for postmates. Some thing that is different from them compared to the other apps is that Postmates you receive your tips after the fact meaning the customer can choose to tip you after the order is delivered. So initially you were going to see a very low pay that you earned from delivering but if you wait a few days you will see the customer tip which will even out to what the other apps are paying.

The base rate is very too little for the amount of time it takes to complete delivery . But if you stay on the road long enough and complete deliveries uou can make a decent amount of money
