Key Responsibilities: Plan, generate and execute business development activities across the United States. Maintain and grow existing customer base. Develop a strong understanding of our value proposition in order to effectively answer current and prospective customer questions about our products and services.  Research and exhaust sales leads until sales success is achieved or a firm “no” is voiced by a potential client. With the support of our energy department, prepare and present focused, organized sales proposals for clients. Analyze customer energy and facility data to understand an organization’s energy procurement and energy management needs, utilizing the expertise and experience of our energy department. Provide RE leadership team with customer insights in order to facilitate ideas on how to continuously improve product offerings and market strategies. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have significant experience in energy commodity sales (Natural Gas and Electricity) and/or energy advisory services (Demand Management, Sustainability Reporting, and Benchmarking) in the Commercial and Industrial (CI) space. Successful sales experience in other industries may be considered. Verifiable track record of sales success in the Energy Industry is highly desired, including, successful growth of a personal book of business.  Candidates with a verifiable track record of success in other CI space industries may be considered. Transferable existing book of business highly desired, but not required. Database of industry contacts highly desired, but not required.
