R2T defines ‘disadvantaged’ as a region and or group of peoples that are deprived of basic necessities such as adequate housing, appropriate clothing, nutrient rich food, medical care, and access to educational facilities. The organization is run entirely by volunteers.
Our primary goal is to build an infrastructure of support to bridge gaps between prosperity and poverty so that people living in disadvantaged areas have the resources and abilities to improve and sustain a richer quality of life. R2T has identified two methods of support to meet this goal; we assist with building local networks to gather resources and develop empowerment programs to promote education and facilitate an improved standard of living. By offering educational events and resources to people living id disadvantaged areas, R2T is educating and empowering people to develop skills as a benefit to the individual and the development and sustainment of a thriving community.
