The majority of faculty and staff at RCC are professional and likeable people. I enjoyed by two year experience working with them. The change in college presidency brought lay-offs and pay cuts. I spent the two years working there (part-time because they rarely hire full-time) always waiting for the ax to fall. After I left in 2014, my colleagues there told me the college had laid off half the English department and many other jobs. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 3.0 4.0 4.0 1.0 2.0 3.0 129088 Open It is very hard to find good employees who are dedicated to their companies. You had many such employees and let them go. You need to take a harder look at who you are letting go when you have to make a cut in the budget. Not enough faculty creates overworked faculty, which in turn affects the students. And isn't that what a college is there for? You get to know everyone you work with. In a small college employes sometimes have to wear many "hats" and talents are spread terribly thin at times.
