We believe that as many children advance through the grades they begin to miss or misunderstand concepts. At present there is no 'system' in place in public schools to prevent this. Parents who can afford too, hire expensive tutors. Springboard is led by Doctoral level educators and we use only trained teachers in our program. We partner with schools who understand that the afterschool time is a unique opportunity for children to have fun, but also to work with our teachers to ensure they UNDERSTAND their school work. In February of 2014, the University of Colorado released the first of several studies documenting and confirming that the Springboard model works and is helping children academically.
